Between the lines

Some things are not meant to be understood, but rather to be accepted

Went out of the office earlier than usual. took a jeep to guadalupe, then bus to cubao but when I reached Megamall, I transferred to another bus then stopped at farmers to buy some flowers, then flew to Riverbanks for one of a kind date. :)

Happy mother’s day to you. Thank you for being a wonderful mom to Jayson and for giving me a warm embrace every time I see you. :) God bless you po! :)

This week, we learned from CNN that the median age of Filipinos is 22.9 years old. 22.9. We’ve just passed puberty.

Now, a median number is a midpoint — meaning, half of our population is older than 22.9, and the other half is younger. This is a really surprising statistic….

Blahblah…

Sana huli na to, sana, sana…

When I read a book I seem to read it with my eyes only, but now and then I come across a passage, perhaps only a phrase, which has a meaning for me, and it becomes part of me. -

Went to Banapple tonight. It was a little busy and noisy when we came, and the store is almost full. The Pork in Mushroom sauce is a little too sweet, and the meat is a little hard. I don’t really enjoy the pancake but I love the experience just because I am with him. We have to whisper to each other because of the noise but still we have a lot of good time catching up. Yeah. Happy day!

Habang nagpaplano para sa outing:

Ako: Libre daw yung mga below 3ft!
Jayson: Edi maganda!
Jayson: *walang nasabi*
Ako: AHAHAH. :P

- Masayang hapon! ;D

Make sure that you are happy with what you are, with who you’re with, the place you’re in, and with the things you do. You are more prone to a lot of stupid things when you’re unhappy, so if you’re not contented, loved, or blessed with what you have, aim for something better, or at least change the way you think about these things. But believe me, there’s a big difference between your decision to be happy and actually being in a happy place, surrounded with positive people. Don’t rest your pursuit to be happy while consistently holding on it. :) - Today’s Reflection :)

Sinigang na Hipon and Crab in Butter Garlic at Dampa, Allimall Cubao.

Busog!
That’s everything we got to say after a satisfying meal at Dampa. We ordered Crab in Butter Garlic and Sinigang na Hipon for our late dinner in one of the restaurants there. The restos in Dampa is known for offering different seafood recipes with fresh from the market ingredients.

The price of the meal there is quite reasonable, but a little pricey. And because the seafood is bought at a nearby market, you have to pay separately for that on top of the usual price found at menu.

Our bill reached P700+ for half kilo of Sinigang na Hipon, 1 kilo of Crab, two cups of rice, and 2 iced tea. A little over the budget for our usual date, but definitely delicious, fresh and fun.

While waiting for our meals to be served, I had the chance to sing at the Karaoke located at the center of Dampa. I sang three songs while throwing a glance at my boyfriend, lol! When I finished singing, the foreigners beside us were all cheering for more. One of the girls even shook my hand as a kind gesture. We were all just having a good time on that Friday night at Dampa. What an extremely awesome life. :D
